Social Responsibility

Safty First

Currently, there are 3,200 automotive manufacturing plants in the country, with an investment of ₨92 billion (US$570 million) producing 1.8 million motorcycles and 200,000 vehicles annually.

This makes motorcycles a major contributing machine to our economy, where we fully appreciate the fact – one the flip side motorcycles make a significant numbers of road occupants, which makes them extremely vulnerable and unsafe.

We remain committed to  devote ourselves to  continuously be involved with authorities and fellow riders, clubs nationwide in efforts to organize and participate in creating awareness on road safety programs for motorcycle riders.

Health, Safety & Welfare Fundamentals

  1. Be aware of others who may be affected by your actions.
  2. Report any potential hazards you come across for everyone’s safety.
  3. Report all accidents, incidents and near misses.

Minimum protection Helmets, Gloves, Ankle high Boots
01.Importance of wearing a Helmet

Helmets create an additional layer for the head and thus protect the wearer from some of the more severe forms of traumatic brain injury. A helmet aims to reduce the risk of serious head and brain injuries by reducing the impact of a force or collision to the head.

02.Wearing Boots

While riding motorcycle boots are extremely important as they provide protection from the bike’s exhaust pipes, extreme cold and other weather conditions, and road debris. A pair of boots should protect against foot and ankle injury in most accidents

03.Gloves

Wearing motorcycle gloves increases your level of comfort while riding. Motorcycle gloves absorb much of the vibration that can be felt in the hands while riding. Gloves help prevent the numbing and tingling many riders experience, especially on longer rides.

04.Personal Protective Equipmnet (PPE)

The main functions of PPE are to improve visibility, resist abrasion, protect against impacts and protect against the weather. Anyone riding a motorbike without long-sleeved trousers and a jacket, gloves and boots is asking for serious injuries.

01
life saver

We never move off without, effective rear observation use or mirrors and looking round, over the shoulder check behind you – often referred to as the ‘life saver’ look.

  • Moving Off
  • Changing lanes
  • Changing direction
  • Making left and right turns
  • Slowing down or stopping

An example could be that you intend on changing lanes and all appears to be clear in the mirrors. However, another motorcycle or a small car may be to your side, which may not be viewable in your mirrors.

This vehicle would only be seen via a over the shoulder check.

02
Motorcycle Riding & Maintenance

Riding a motorcycle requires accuracy and continuous concentration. Over time, we can allow bad habits to creep in, potentially making the rider more vulnerable to an accident. Not only do we need to ride for ourselves, but for others too and to ride defensively taking their actions into account. So is the maintenance of the bike as important, it would be that one instance that requires one critical component to  perform at its best. Hence it is critical to stay on top of the maintenance rituals.

A few regular checks:

  • Head light low and high
  • Break lights, Parking lights functional with both front and rear breaks
  • Final drive chain lubricated as per manufacturer’s guidelines
  • Break pads and break oil topped up
  • Tyres no more then three years old enough tread and inflated as per specification
  • Coolants and fuel topped up

Risk assesment & Safty mindset

Every move that you make on two wheels bears a certain amount of risk not just for your own self but also for the people around.

All our fellow riders are fist aid trained and aware – carrying a kit with and something we strongly recommend to be prepared when away.
